RUBY DRAGON CRYSTALS ~ OFFERING YOU THE BEST OF MOTHER EARTH!

Princesses & Pages in Tarot

A special edition of Mysticism & Magic this week, Penny Harrington shares her insight and expertise to help you better understand the Page/Princess of tarot!
~
Most tarot books will tell you that the Page/Princess cards either will bring you a message about the subject of the suit.
For example, the Princess of Cups will bring you a message about Love. Tarot books say that the Princess/Page cards are students of their suit. The Page of Pentacles is learning about earthly resources such as health and wealth.
~
I am using The Spiral Tarot by Kay Steventon to show you some other ways to use these cards. She uses the Princess as the youngest member of the family in that suit.
You can read the energy of the card and probably discern who the card represents in your family or in the family of the person for whom you’re reading.
We will examine the four princesses in this deck to help you identify the qualities of each princess.
~
Please also notice that the 3 older princesses are all redheads...just like my granddaughter Aine who also loves dragons!
~
♦The Princess of Wands is excited that she has found a wand that is blooming. Her baby dragon companion is also excited. She is wearing a crown that she made from leaves and flowers. Her dress is covered with a sunflower pattern and she is barefoot. This child is obviously connected to the earth. She is curious and full of lightness. I believe she is the youngest of the four princesses in this deck.
~
♦Next in age is the Princess of Cups. She is floating in the water and surrounded by playful dolphins; however, she is in a contemplative mood and is opening to her psychic powers and intuition. She likes to be alone and has a vivid imagination.
~
♦The next oldest is the Princess of Swords. She has decided that it is time to shake things up and has her own ideas of what needs to be done and she is determined to do it. She is still guided by her imagination and desire for righting the wrongs as shown by the butterfly on her headband over her 3rd eye. She is also able to draw on her emotions even though she is an Air sign because she is on water.
~
♦The Princess of Pentacles is the oldest of the group. She is surrounded by plants and flowers and has a small circlet of flowers on her head. She is paying close attention to the pentacle in her hand. She has a look of determination on her face.
If I were reading this card for someone today, I would say that she is very concerned about the environment, the health of the planet, and all the things that live on it.
~
In closing, it is important to pay close attention to what your intuition is telling you about the cards. There is no “one” answer for what a card means!
